- Account information: Name, email address, and password (securely hashed) when you create an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from those services.
- Profile information: City, state, sports interests, bio, years of experience, and profile photo that you choose to provide.
- Location data: Your city or zip code for finding nearby trainers. We do not track your real-time GPS location in the background.
- Usage data: Session bookings, schedule requests, and calendar activity within the app.
How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account
- To connect you with trainers in your area
- To facilitate booking and scheduling of training sessions
- To improve the app experience and fix issues
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share limited information only in these cases:
- With trainers/clients: Your name and booking details when you schedule a session, so both parties can communicate.
- With service providers: Cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), authentication services (Apple, Google) — only as strictly needed to operate the service.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Data Security
We take security seriously. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Our servers are hosted on AWS with restricted access controls.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and view your personal data within the app
- Update or correct your profile information at any time
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
